Our family thanks you for taking the time to visit the website of Pueblo Chico Cantina, a family owned and operated restaurant. Our personal philosophy of entertaining often and well, at home, has shaped our service philosophy of providing solamente lo mejor for guests dining at our restaurant.

The phrase “pueblo chico” literally means “small town,” and that is exactly the ambiance we have created for you at our establishment. Exiting off Highway 50 just outside the county of Sacramento we found the burgeoning community of El Dorado Hills and were so awestruck by the natural beauty of its golden hill landscape that we thought it the most ideal setting for our Pueblo Chico Cantina. With the area’s rich mining history at the root of the social landscape, we hope to add a celebrated diversity of culture and build a solid reputation as the benchmark establishment for hospitality, great Mexican food, and fine tequila.

Our family has a long track record of gathering in the kitchen to cook, eat, and swap stories. The dishes we prepare and enjoy all come with their own story. Whether it is something new we picked up or a family recipe that has been passed down through generations, there’s a history behind it, and that story telling is a big part of our gatherings. Each time a dish is served in the restaurant our story grows a little with you, so it is with great pleasure we open up our doors and provide you with a place of holiday from the everyday.

If it is the one hour lunch break from work or a lazy Sunday morning brunch you spend with us, we’re grateful, either way. We’re happy to set the table for as many or as few as you wish.
